Expertise Project has been engaged by the New York State Department of Transportation to create immersive experiences on their worksites and to deliver those experiences into regional high schools.
Our work with NYSDOT has been underway for over two years – and a good portion of our upcoming news sections (and those sections that will be backfilling) will speak to our efforts at making the worksite accessible to recruiters and trainers, students and educators, both in and outside of the classroom.
Attached are a few photographs from a recent site visit in the Summer of 2024. These photos show work underway to improve the infrastructure on the Interstate 481 Infrastructure around Syracuse. This work will make possible the future efforts to improve the community experience within Syracuse.
Visits like these provide updated “real-world” content both for recruitment and training efforts but also for classroom-based learning projects for students at an early age.
